What’s in my bag?

Cameras:

I’ve been photographing with Canon camera’s for well over 10 years now. My go-to cameras for events are two Canon EOS R5 cameras. One camera mounted with a long lens and the other with a wide-angle lens. I use two camera bodies for a couple of reason. Events, unlike portrait sessions, are dynamic by nature and moments happen in a split second. Having a long lens and wide lens attached to two camera bodies in-hand assures me that I can quickly transition from one focal length to another without missing the shot. The other reason is for redundancy. If for any reason one camera is having technical problems, I always have another in hand. Again, moments happen fast, and moments not preserved in a photograph will just be a faded memory.

LightingProfoto

I started investing in professional grade lighting equipment quite a while ago. I almost always at least bring two Profoto B10s to each assignment. Larger shoots, such as corporate portraits with multiple looks (both backdrop and environment style portraits that will have multiple areas to light), can incorporate my two B10s, three B1s, and two D1s, and if needed, an A1. As you can see, there’s no job to large.

Light Modifiers:

Mix of different sized Octobox Softboxes, 4x1’ Softboxes, Beauty dish, parabolic umbrellas, and a few other different sized softboxes. There’s a modifier in my inventory for any type of job. This also includes grids and 7” reflectors.
