Founded in 1979, the Bibbo family started their family business as Taylor Rental in a 4,800 sq. ft. facility located on Brookpark Road in Parma, Ohio. Less than ten years after the grand opening a 15,000 sq. ft. expansion to the existing building on Brookpark Road was under construction to house more party supplies and heavy equipment. In 1994, the business moved into a new 33,000 sq. ft. facility on Valley Belt Road in Brooklyn Heights. Three years later, Taylor Rental was rebranded to their current business name, Event Source. The growing business made another move to it's current location in Sweet Valley Industrial Park in Valley View in 2001. Since then, Event Source has continued to grow and also expand into the Columbus, Detroit Michigan, and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania markets.
Event Source's 35 year anniversary celebration took place at Cibrèo Privato, located on Euclid Avenue across the street from Playhouse Square. Everyone met in a private bar located at the back of the restaurant for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was held in a separate room (between the restaurant and back bar) that I believe use to be used as a theater at one time. Rock the House Entertainment Group (RTH) filled the room with music and ambient lighting. After dinner, president John Bibbo Jr. thanked everyone for help making Event Source what it is today and handed out awards and recognition to employees. A commemorative clock was given to John Sr. and Susan Bibbo as a gift of appreciation for all the hard work and bright future that they have provided for dozens of employees of Event Source. A slideshow of photos displayed on a large movie screen brought back memories and highlights of the people that help create the 35 year historical journey to what has become Event Source as of today. RTH got everybody dancing with a dance competition that everyone had a lot of fun with. Listed below are a few photos captured during the Anniversary Party.
