The beautiful country setting in Hunting Valley of Tabitha Bowen's parents, Gail and Richard, was the start of a wonderful wedding day for Tabitha and Martin. Family and friends gathered at the home for a pre-wedding brunch and family photos. Tabitha and Martin then saw each other for their first look in the forest-like backyard where they shared a few quiet moments together before another round of family photos.

Whether you're a kid or an adult, summer birthday parties are always fun. Ava and Davis celebrated their 3rd birthday with family and friends on a beautiful summer day in August. Warm sunshine, a refreshing breeze, balloons, games, family, friends, cake and ice cream all complimented each other as perfect ingredients for a great birthday party. Aunt Sabrina brought the food, decorations and games to the party while other family members brought warm laughs and good spirits. To be a kid again. Happy birthday Ava and Davis!

My Uncle Bob and Aunt Marge organized a McDonald Family Reunion at Mohican State Park on Friday July 11th, 2014. July is a busy month and not all could make it to the reunion but it was nice to see those that made it from my family on a beautiful July day. I use to always go camping with my parents as a child and over the years I simply forgot on how fun it is to go camping. Camp fires, fishing, s'mores, barbecues, bike rides, hiking, kayaking, you name it...I miss it.

Kim and David asked me to photograph a big party that they were planning at the beginning of June and how could I resist? David happens to be my nephew and Kim, as of June 6th 2014, is my new niece. It doesn't seem like it's been too long since David marched out of his home as a toddler with a few dollars in hand to buy a treasure chest of candy at the candy shop right down the street from where he lived. I think he just got off from being grounded that day for his irresistible love of candy but apparently all is well. On June 6th, 2014, David marched on to the United Methodist Church in North Olmsted to marry the real love of his live, Kim. Sorry candy, you've been demoted to #2.

The end of May not only offered blue skies and pleasant temperatures, but it also ended up being the perfect day in so many ways for Kelly and Don. The day started out at the Double Tree Tudor Arms Hotel on Carnegie Ave, located about a mile from Littly Italy and the Botanical Gardens. David photographed Kelly and the bridesmaids while I (Dale) photographed Don and his groomsmen getting ready for the big day. Don and his groomsmen boarded Lolly the Trolley at 1pm and headed to the ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in Cleveland, Ohio. Kelly and her bridesmaids took the next trolley to the Botanical Gardens and the day was on its way.

Event Source's 35 year anniversary celebration took place at Cibrèo Privato, located on Euclid Avenue across the street from Playhouse Square. Everyone met in a private bar located at the back of the restaurant for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was held in a separate room (between the restaurant and back bar) that I believe use to be used as a theater at one time. Rock the House Entertainment Group (RTH) filled the room with music and ambient lighting.
